I can't imagine an eleven-year old being jazzed about something like this today, but to me the idea of a race between Superman and the Flash was the coolest thing I'd ever seen. (Who knew that it had been done before?) I missed the next issue, so I never found out what happened. In a straight-up race however (with no aliens or super-villains interfering), I'd bet on the Flash everytime. Superspeed was just one of Supe's powers, but its all the Flash did. And wasn't he billed as The Fastest Man Alive?
